OpenAI's API changelog holds four Sora notes: the v1/videos endpoint for Sora 2 and Sora 2 Pro on 6 October 2025; a newer snapshot behind the sora-2 name on 13 January 2026; and on 12 March 2026, character references, 20-second clips, 1080p on the pro model, extensions and batch jobs, together with an edits endpoint that replaces remix.
