Longer AI video clips: every dated change

38 entries on clip length or extension from 14 of the 17 lines, 32 of them dated 4 September 2024 to 28 August 2026. The table lists each with its line and version; the chart counts them per line. As of 2026-09-25.

1Reading the notes

Clip length moved in two ways. Early notes lengthen video by extension: Gen-3 Alpha to 40 seconds in total in September 2024, Firefly's Generative Extend in Premiere Pro from October 2024, Midjourney's V1 in four-second steps in June 2025. Amazon's Nova Reel 1.1 took a third route in April 2025, joining 6-second shots into videos of up to two minutes in one job. Later notes raise what one generation returns: 10 seconds for Hailuo 02 and the Wan 2.5 preview, 15 for Wan 2.6, 20 for Sora in March 2026, and 30 for Wan 3.0 and Seedance 2.5 in August 2026. Kling's Motion Control reached 30 seconds of action in one take in December 2025.
