AI video resolution, frame rate and shape changes

40 entries on resolution, frame rate or shape from 14 of the 17 lines, 36 of them dated 20 September 2024 to 17 September 2026. The table lists each with its line and version; the chart counts them per line. As of 2026-09-25.

1Reading the notes

Resolution notes split into three kinds: native output, upscaling after the fact, and shape. 1080p appears first in the Firefly Video Model's note in February 2025 and then in Hailuo 02's in June 2025; native 1080p in Luma's Ray3.14 in January 2026 and Grok Imagine 1.5 in July 2026; native 4K with Kling in April 2026. Veo added 4K output in January 2026, and Seedance 2.0 and LTX-2.5 list 4K too. Shape notes include vertical video on Gen-3 Alpha Turbo in September 2024 and Veo's portrait support in January 2026. Frame rate appears late, with 48 fps on LTX-2.5 Pro and Runway's conversion up to 120 fps.
