When a model's feature lives in another product
Some changes reach users through a product other than the model's own. Adobe's Generative Extend, in October 2024, was powered by the Firefly Video Model but arrived in the Premiere Pro beta, on the editing timeline, not in the Firefly app. Kling's Canvas Agent carried multi-shot and multi-angle expansion in January 2026 before the API took shot types. As of 2026-09-25.
The register files such changes under the model whose note names it, and keeps the product named in the entry, so a line page can show a change that its maker's API does not expose yet.
For a user this is the practical question: where does the feature appear first? The answer is often an app or an editor, with the API following later, as with Kling 3.0 reaching the app on 31 January 2026 and the API on 25 February.
