What each AI video model's release notes say changed

A user guide's document history is a changelog too

Amazon's Nova user guide ends with a document history table: each row a change to the guide, with a description and a date. One row, on 7 April 2025, records that Amazon Nova could now generate videos up to two minutes long, the same day the AWS News Blog introduced Nova Reel 1.1. As of 2026-09-25.

Pages like this are easy to miss because they sit at the back of the documentation rather than on a news page. They date what changed in the docs, which usually tracks what changed in the model, and the register counts them as release notes when a row names a change to the model.

Where both a post and a document history exist, both are kept: they rarely disagree on the day, and when they do, the difference is itself worth knowing.
