1Reading the notes
Editing notes cover changing video that already exists instead of generating anew. Runway's Video to Video restyled uploaded clips from September 2024, Firefly's Generative Extend lengthened existing footage in Premiere Pro from October 2024, and its Aleph models in 2025 and 2026 make editing the model's main job. Luma's Modify tools, Wan 2.1 VACE and Wan 2.7 video edit, LTX's retake, PixVerse's restyle and modify, HappyHorse's edit model and Sora's edits endpoint all follow, some changing a region and some the whole clip.
